Support for Australia

Our hearts are filled with sadness as we hear reports of the devastating bush fires and speak with Fred who has just returned from Australia. Our thoughts are with our friends, farmers and the Australian wildlife affected.
More than ever, we need to support our farmers, artisans and friends who are trying to help those displaced. How can you help?

1. We are donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of our sustainable & reusable canvas totes to the Red Cross and Wildlife Emergency Fund. Each tote bag is only $5.

2. Carrotsticks & Cravings is organising a series of ladies luncheons to raise funds to support the community of Cobargo in NSW South Coast. Book your seat or buy raffle tickets and bid in the silent auction - to which we are donating two hampers filled with treats from Australia.

3. Byron Bay Peanut Butter are donating all their January Peanut Butter profits to Friends of the Koalas, the County Fire Authority and NSW Rural Fire Services.

4. Donate directly to the local rural brigade at https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/volunteer/support-your-local-brigade

We are sourcing many products from Australia, so how is our supply affected? You may see low stock on some fruits & vegetables and a few price increase as our farmers’ production is affected. We are committed to support them and to continue bringing in the freshest produce to you. When shopping Australian fruits & veg, we advise you to purchase as you need. Avoid stocking up as the extreme heat may have altered their longevity.
Besides that, the whole supply chain is disrupted, so some of your favourite butchery, pantry or dairy items may be out of stock temporarily. Contact us or speak with our team in store if you have any query.

We are praying for rain and the safety of all communities, and hope that these fires stop soon. ❤
