Milano Panettone - Candied Orange and Raisins
The ancient recipe for Classic Panettone dates back to Milanese tradition, so BreraMilano1930 creates this typical Christmas dessert, also paying homage to it in the weight of the “Milanese pound”, or 1120 g.
The basic dough of flour, butter, eggs, water, and sourdough starter is topped with raisins and candied citrus fruits, in a production cycle that pays attention to every stage: from mixing to packaging.
The wrapping reflects the traditional style of Milanese pastry shops, inspired by 1930s designs, and is folded strictly by hand.
Before serving the panettone, we recommend warming it slightly to bring out the softness and flavor of the dough.
