Cadbury was established in Birmingham in 1824 by John Cadbury however it was not until cocoa powder became available that he started producing chocolate like the kind we eat today. John developed the business with his brother and two sons and in 1914, created Dairy Milk chocolate, which has remained one of the company's best sellers and is the base for many of its other products.
