Pasta Sauce - Aubergine
Creamy, comforting and very, very tasty, this carefully crafted sauce is our idea of joy! Whole black olives and oregano are a good addition and when served over spicy Italian sausages there isn’t need for much else except good bread. Try adding to a pizza base and top simply with fresh herbs and cheese.

Stefano de Pieri was born in Treviso, near Venice, and migrated to Australia in 1974. He eventually settled in the Victorian city of Mildura, where he was impressed with the local produce and wine – but frustrated by the district's lack of recognition. He begun imagining a book that would include his food memories from his native Veneto and Mildura's produce, which eventually became ‘A Gondola on the Murray’; his book was later turned into a television series of the same name.
Stefano’s Restaurant has been the recipient of many prestigious awards and continues to attract the support of many patrons. Stefano and his wife Donata continue a family tradition in hospitality, with the hope of providing variety and interest to residents and visitors who come to Mildura.
