Sparkling Wine - Celebre Data

The Célebre Data sparkling wine is an historic product from Caves Primavera, as it has been a Stallworth of the company since the 60’s. With a Bical, Maria Gomes and Baga base, it’s a perfect wine from Bairrada, Beira Atlântico region.

The Célebre Data presents a bright and clean aspect  with golden citrus color, fine bubble and creamy mousse. The aroma has fruity notes of green apple and citrus fruits like orange and lemon. On palate is fresh, fruity, flowery with a balanced acidity and harmonious aftertaste. It has a maturation potential of up to three years.

This sparkling wine is produced with the traditional method, the champenoise method. It has a second fermentation in bottle, in our cellar, during at least 3 months (normally it stays in the cellar for more than one year, to enhance all the best qualities from the wine). The remuage and degorgment processes are carefully done by an experienced team, dedicated to this art.

The name Célebre Data can be translated as “To celebrate the day”. So, it’s no coincidence that this wine is a perfect match for all celebrations, for big dinner parties. It goes really well with grilled meats and fish.
