Extra Dry Prosecco
Zesty and stylish, Prosecco is the quintessential sparkling aperitif. This glamorous Italian sparkle is produced exclusively in the north east of Italy. The first written reference to Prosecco dates back to 1772. Select vineyards on steep hillsides are worked manually and bring forth the fragrant elegance and freshness that has always distinguished Prosecco. Ilauri Prosecco is produced exclusively with Glera grapes, it is dry and refreshing with fruity characteristics.
Pairs well with camembert, brie, truffle brie, gruyere and Parmigiano-Reggiano.
Straw-lemon with a fine perlage. Fresh, fragrant aromas of ripe fruit with hints of apple, peach and pear. The palate tastes fresh and fruity with a plesant vein of acidity and a lively finish.
The iLauri estate produces splendid wines by combining grapes from a special terroir with the most sustainable techniques of winemaking. Its name stems from the ancient roots of its birthplace, Loreto Aprutino, which was once covered in 'Lauri' or laurel trees. The grapes used by the estate in their famous Prosseco come from select vineyards around the hills of Conegliano, near Treviso in the north of Venice.
