Tomfoolery Young Blood Shiraz is all about the generations - taking old-world wine techniques learned from winemakers past to make new world wines with personality and spirit.
This small, open batch fermented, unoaked and unfiltered wine is a beautiful, full bodied Barossa red. Plums and juicy berries dominate the flavour spectrum, with a bit of acidity and a lot of drinkability.
Drink it while young and foolish, or while remembering an enjoyably misspent youth - that's what it was made for!

The Tomfoolery Wines adventure in Barossa Valley began in the sweltering heat of the 2004 harvest, between best mates Ben Chipman and Toby Yap, and a tonne of old vine Shiraz. The fruit was picked with some generous assistance from friends, then de-stemmed and basket pressed to produce the first ‘Artful Dodger’ Shiraz. Over the following vintages, the boys expanded their production to include Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Mataro, Tempranillo and Pinot Noir.
