Are The Berries You Are Consuming Safe?
It is the season of berries and we want to share some important information with you.

You may have heard that Food Standards Australia and New Zealand have initiated yet another recall of imported frozen berries. The recall is because of concerns that the product, Creative Gourmet Mixed Berries 300g, is linked with several confirmed cases of Hepatitis A.
We want to ensure you that we do not carry any berries or berry products from Chile or China. Our ethos have always been to carry products that we can trace back to the source and from suppliers we’ve personally met. Our fresh and frozen berries come from France, U.S.A, Portugal, Australia, and Spain.
Our frozen berries come from My Berries and is one of a very small number of premium, frozen berry specialists that exclusively sources all their berries from Australian growers. Growers who regularly have their water and produce tested for bacteria and viruses and can easily demonstrate that their produce is safe to eat.

It is important that you are able to recognise the difference between berries that are packed in Australia and those that are actually grown and processed here. Frozen berries are a raw product and often consumed without further preparation – how they’re grown and regulated really matters.
Every single berry in a My Berries pouch has been hand-picked from selected farms across Australia, each sharing a common commitment to quality.

Not only are they safe, but absolutely delicious. We believe - particularly in the wake of this Hepatitis A contamination - you deserve Australian grown, safe and sustainable berry option on our shelves.
Currently we carry My Berries 350gm and 1kg pouches of strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, blueberries and a versatile berry blend.
