Ghoulishly Good: Cooking with Kids
Halloween with sweet treats, bright colours, and a touch of fantasy is the perfect time to get kids into the kitchen. We’ve conjured a simple recipe that is easy for even the youngest chefs to prepare. So put on those witchy hats, roll up your ghostly sleeves, and mix up a bounty of delights!

Toothsome Teeth
Fruit plus protein-packed peanut butter makes the perfect pre-trick-or-treat fuel. And there is something about the flavour combination of these three ingredients that makes everyone from the wee-est witch to the surliest teen smile.

2 red apples
3-4 tablespoons peanut butter
50 mini marshmallows (yes, this seems like a lot...but really how cute are these teeth?!)

Slice apples in half and carefully remove the core. Slice each half thinly into 5-6 pieces, leaving the skin on. Spread a thin layer of peanut butter on two apple slices. Place marshmallows vertically, to look like teeth, on top of one peanut butter covered slice. Place second apple slice peanut butter side down on top of marshmallows, to form upper lip. Look! You’ve made a perfect smile.
