Statement - Salmonella in Shell Eggs
Pace Farm is proud to supply safe, quality shell eggs and egg products throughout Australia. Our stringent food safety programs mitigate the risks associated with food borne pathogens including Salmonella.
Pace Farm participate in the Victoria and NSW joint Salmonella accreditation program. This program requires us to monitor and report the presence of Salmonella through environmental sampling and auditing. Farms must comply with the rules of the program and best farming practice at all times.
In addition to the above, Pace Farm facilities are regularly inspected and independently audited to various food safety and health standards. Our management systems are based on HACCP to ensure food safety risks are managed effectively. Any contracted supply must be a minimum NSW Food Authority, or third part independently audited.
