South Australian Giant Boarfish (aka Duckfish) (Paristiopterus labiosus) is wild caught in the pristine waters of the Southern Ocean and unloaded in Port Lincoln. Giant Boarfish has white delicate fillets that are sweet in flavour. Giant Boarfish can be crumbed, shallow pan fried, deep fried, oven baked or grilled. Giant Boarfish is filleted fresh, packed and frozen all on the same day.

Serving Suggestion:

This is a raw product and must be thawed and cooked. The fillets are well suited to crumbing. shallow pan frying and oven baking. PAN FRY Crumb fillets, fry 4-6 minutes on a medium heat. Scan the QR code for recipe ideas and further cooking instructions.

How to Defrost:

Keep product in its packaging in a refrigerator overnight or remove outer cardboard and place in cold water until thawed. Not suitable to re-freeze.
