Vega Sotuélamos was founded by two friends in the 1980s in El Bonillo, Spain. It broke into the cheese market with a differentiating advantage: the production of soft cheese with pure sheep's milk, compared to other manufacturers who produced soft mixed cheese. The milestone was marked by the release of their unique rosemary cheese, which soon gained widespread recognition. Today, Vega Sotuélamos is sold in over 20 countries around the world.
