Our strawberries are succulent, plump and juicy. We have a plentiful supply of strawberries as our very own Moreton Bay region produces a whopping 40% of Australia’s strawberries.
The season kicks-off in May and ends in early October. Each strawberry has been carefully handpicked, washed and hulled. And we’ve done the hard work for you by removing those green stalks.
Strawberries are a great source of fibre, vitamin C and antioxidants. Just one serving of strawberries offers about 150% of our daily vitamin C requirement. They can also lower blood pressure, treat symptoms of arthritis and gout, promote healthy eyesight function and help regulate blood sugar levels.
Delicious in smoothies and baking, for making preserves, sauces, ice cream and sorbets. We shouldn’t forget to mention how perfect they are in a strawberry daiquiri too…
100% Australian Strawberries
There are four core team members at My Berries headquarters: Directors Allison and Stuart, and 'Chief Taste Testers' Luther and baby Gabriel. They started their berry business after returning home to Queensland in 2012, and are passionate about provenance, high quality ingredients, and local farmers. They are very cautious about what their children eat, and like most families, only want them eating safe, locally grown produce. This means they are fierce in aligning with growers who care as much as they do.
