Suggested Recipe

Cheddar Cheese Sandwich

  • 200g White Mature Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Grate the cheddar cheese. Slice the tomato and cucumber.
  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place grated cheese, tomato slices, and cucumber slices on the unbuttered side of two bread slices. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side up.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
