This Traditional Sauerkraut is the ‘simplest’ combination of ingredients. It’s a good kraut to start with if you’re new to fermented foods.
It is incredibly delicious with meats (especially sausages, chicken and pork) but also goes well stirred through slightly cooled stews. The kraut juice is great for making fermented nut cheese.
